Leviticus 9.0:

Leviticus 9.1: 9On the eighth day, Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

Leviticus 9.2: 2 and he said to Aaron, “Take a calf from the herd for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without defect, and offer them before Yahweh.

Leviticus 9.3: 3 You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Take a male goat for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without defect, for a burnt offering;

Leviticus 9.4: 4 and a bull and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before Yahweh; and a meal offering mixed with oil: for today Yahweh appears to you.’”

Leviticus 9.5: 5 They brought what Moses commanded before the Tent of Meeting. All the congregation came near and stood before Yahweh.

Leviticus 9.6: 6 Moses said, “This is the thing which Yahweh commanded that you should do; and Yahweh’s glory shall appear to you.”

Leviticus 9.7: 7 Moses said to Aaron, “Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Yahweh commanded.”

Leviticus 9.8: 8 So Aaron came near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

Leviticus 9.9: 9 The sons of Aaron presented the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar;

Leviticus 9.10: 10 but the fat, and the kidneys, and the cover from the liver of the sin offering, he burned upon the altar, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

Leviticus 9.11: 11 The meat and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.

Leviticus 9.12: 12 He killed the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons delivered the blood to him, and he sprinkled it around on the altar.

Leviticus 9.13: 13 They delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head. He burned them upon the altar.

Leviticus 9.14: 14 He washed the innards and the legs, and burned them on the burnt offering on the altar.

Leviticus 9.15: 15 He presented the people’s offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first.

Leviticus 9.16: 16 He presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

Leviticus 9.17: 17 He presented the meal offering, and filled his hand from there, and burned it upon the altar, in addition to the burnt offering of the morning.

Leviticus 9.18: 18 He also killed the bull and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people. Aaron’s sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled around on the altar;

Leviticus 9.19: 19 and the fat of the bull and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the innards, and the kidneys, and the cover of the liver;

Leviticus 9.20: 20 and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar.

Leviticus 9.21: 21 Aaron waved the breasts and the right thigh for a wave offering before Yahweh, as Moses commanded.

Leviticus 9.22: 22 Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings.

Leviticus 9.23: 23 Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and came out, and blessed the people; and Yahweh’s glory appeared to all the people.

Leviticus 9.24: 24 Fire came out from before Yahweh, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

Joshua 23.0:

Joshua 23.1: 23After many days, when Yahweh had given rest to Israel from their enemies all around, and Joshua was old and well advanced in years,

Joshua 23.2: 2 Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders and for their heads, and for their judges and for their officers, and said to them, “I am old and well advanced in years.

Joshua 23.3: 3 You have seen all that Yahweh your God has done to all these nations because of you; for it is Yahweh your God who has fought for you.

Joshua 23.4: 4 Behold, I have allotted to you these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from the Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even to the great sea toward the going down of the sun.

Joshua 23.5: 5 Yahweh your God will thrust them out from before you, and drive them from out of your sight. You shall possess their land, as Yahweh your God spoke to you.

Joshua 23.6: 6 “Therefore be very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that you not turn away from it to the right hand or to the left;

Joshua 23.7: 7 that you not come among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them, neither serve them, nor bow down yourselves to them;

Joshua 23.8: 8 but hold fast to Yahweh your God, as you have done to this day.

Joshua 23.9: 9 “For Yahweh has driven great and strong nations out from before you. But as for you, no man has stood before you to this day.

Joshua 23.10: 10 One man of you shall chase a thousand; for it is Yahweh your God who fights for you, as he spoke to you.

Joshua 23.11: 11 Take good heed therefore to yourselves, that you love Yahweh your God.

Joshua 23.12: 12 “But if you do at all go back, and hold fast to the remnant of these nations, even these who remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you;

Joshua 23.13: 13 know for a certainty that Yahweh your God will no longer drive these nations from out of your sight; but they shall be a snare and a trap to you, a scourge in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good land which Yahweh your God has given you.

Joshua 23.14: 14 “Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yahweh your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it.

Joshua 23.15: 15 It shall happen that as all the good things have come on you of which Yahweh your God spoke to you, so Yahweh will bring on you all the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land which Yahweh your God has given you,

Joshua 23.16: 16 when you disobey the covenant of Yahweh your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods, and bow down yourselves to them. Then Yahweh’s anger will be kindled against you, and you will perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you.”

1 Chronicles 15.0:

1 Chronicles 15.1: 15David made himself houses in David’s city; and he prepared a place for God’s ark, and pitched a tent for it.

1 Chronicles 15.2: 2 Then David said, “No one ought to carry God’s ark but the Levites. For Yahweh has chosen them to carry God’s ark, and to minister to him forever.”

1 Chronicles 15.3: 3 David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem, to bring up Yahweh’s ark to its place, which he had prepared for it.

1 Chronicles 15.4: 4 David gathered together the sons of Aaron and the Levites:

1 Chronicles 15.5: 5 of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, and his brothers one hundred twenty;

1 Chronicles 15.6: 6 of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, and his brothers two hundred twenty;

1 Chronicles 15.7: 7 of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, and his brothers one hundred thirty;

1 Chronicles 15.8: 8 of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, and his brothers two hundred;

1 Chronicles 15.9: 9 of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, and his brothers eighty;

1 Chronicles 15.10: 10 of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, and his brothers one hundred twelve.

1 Chronicles 15.11: 11 David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab,

1 Chronicles 15.12: 12 and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

1 Chronicles 15.13: 13 For because you didn’t carry it at first, Yahweh our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”

1 Chronicles 15.14: 14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of Yahweh, the God of Israel.

1 Chronicles 15.15: 15 The children of the Levites bore God’s ark on their shoulders with its poles, as Moses commanded according to Yahweh’s word.

1 Chronicles 15.16: 16 David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brothers as singers with instruments of music, stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up their voices with joy.

1 Chronicles 15.17: 17 So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brothers, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brothers, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

1 Chronicles 15.18: 18 and with them their brothers of the second rank, Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

1 Chronicles 15.19: 19 So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were given cymbals of bronze to sound aloud;

1 Chronicles 15.20: 20 and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

1 Chronicles 15.21: 21 and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.

1 Chronicles 15.22: 22 Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was over the singing. He taught the singers, because he was skillful.

1 Chronicles 15.23: 23 Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

1 Chronicles 15.24: 24 Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before God’s ark; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

1 Chronicles 15.25: 25 So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring the ark of Yahweh’s covenant up out of the house of Obed-Edom with joy.

1 Chronicles 15.26: 26 When God helped the Levites who bore the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

1 Chronicles 15.27: 27 David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who bore the ark, the singers, and Chenaniah the choir master with the singers; and David had an ephod of linen on him.

1 Chronicles 15.28: 28 Thus all Israel brought the ark of Yahweh’s covenant up with shouting, with sound of the cornet, with trumpets, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.

1 Chronicles 15.29: 29 As the ark of Yahweh’s covenant came to David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.

1 Chronicles 22.0:

1 Chronicles 22.1: 22Then David said, “This is the house of Yahweh God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

1 Chronicles 22.2: 2 David gave orders to gather together the foreigners who were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to cut dressed stones to build God’s house.

1 Chronicles 22.3: 3 David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the couplings; and bronze in abundance without weight;

1 Chronicles 22.4: 4 and cedar trees without number, for the Sidonians and the people of Tyre brought cedar trees in abundance to David.

1 Chronicles 22.5: 5 David said, “Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for Yahweh must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David prepared abundantly before his death.

1 Chronicles 22.6: 6 Then he called for Solomon his son, and commanded him to build a house for Yahweh, the God of Israel.

1 Chronicles 22.7: 7 David said to Solomon his son, “As for me, it was in my heart to build a house to the name of Yahweh my God.

1 Chronicles 22.8: 8 But Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, ‘You have shed blood abundantly, and have made great wars. You shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.

1 Chronicles 22.9: 9 Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of peace. I will give him rest from all his enemies all around; for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.

1 Chronicles 22.10: 10 He shall build a house for my name; and he will be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

1 Chronicles 22.11: 11 Now, my son, may Yahweh be with you and prosper you, and build the house of Yahweh your God, as he has spoken concerning you.

1 Chronicles 22.12: 12 May Yahweh give you discretion and understanding, and put you in charge of Israel; that so you may keep the law of Yahweh your God.

1 Chronicles 22.13: 13 Then you will prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the ordinances which Yahweh gave Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid, and don’t be dismayed.

1 Chronicles 22.14: 14 Now, behold, in my affliction I have prepared for Yahweh’s house one hundred thousand talents1 of gold, one million talents2 of silver, and bronze and iron without weight; for it is in abundance. I have also prepared timber and stone; and you may add to them.

1 Chronicles 22.15: 15 There are also workmen with you in abundance, cutters and workers of stone and timber, and all kinds of men who are skillful in every kind of work;

1 Chronicles 22.16: 16 of the gold, the silver, the bronze, and the iron, there is no number. Arise and be doing, and may Yahweh be with you.”

1 Chronicles 22.17: 17 David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

1 Chronicles 22.18: 18 “Isn’t Yahweh your God with you? Hasn’t he given you rest on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before Yahweh, and before his people.

1 Chronicles 22.19: 19 Now set your heart and your soul to follow Yahweh your God. Arise therefore, and build the sanctuary of Yahweh God, to bring the ark of Yahweh’s covenant and the holy vessels of God into the house that is to be built for Yahweh’s name.”

when he arises to shake the earth mightily.

Isaiah 2.20: 20 In that day, men shall cast away their idols of silver

and their idols of gold,

which have been made for themselves to worship,

to the moles and to the bats,

Isaiah 2.21: 21 to go into the caverns of the rocks,

and into the clefts of the ragged rocks,

from before the terror of Yahweh,

and from the glory of his majesty,

when he arises to shake the earth mightily.

Isaiah 2.22: 22 Stop trusting in man, whose breath is in his nostrils;

for of what account is he?

Isaiah 28.0:

Isaiah 28.1: 28Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fertile valley of those who are overcome with wine!

Isaiah 28.2: 2 Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one. Like a storm of hail, a destroying storm, and like a storm of mighty waters overflowing, he will cast them down to the earth with his hand.

Isaiah 28.3: 3 The crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim will be trodden under foot.

Isaiah 28.4: 4 The fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fertile valley, shall be like the first-ripe fig before the summer; which someone picks and eats as soon as he sees it.

Isaiah 28.5: 5 In that day, Yahweh of Armies will become a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty to the residue of his people,

Isaiah 28.6: 6 and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

Isaiah 28.7: 7 They also reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink. The priest and the prophet reel with strong drink. They are swallowed up by wine. They stagger with strong drink. They err in vision. They stumble in judgment.

Isaiah 28.8: 8 For all tables are completely full of filthy vomit and filthiness.

Isaiah 28.9: 9 Whom will he teach knowledge? To whom will he explain the message? Those who are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts?

Isaiah 28.10: 10 For it is precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little.

Isaiah 28.11: 11 But he will speak to this nation with stammering lips and in another language,

Isaiah 28.12: 12 to whom he said, “This is the resting place. Give rest to weary,” and “This is the refreshing;” yet they would not hear.

Isaiah 28.13: 13 Therefore Yahweh’s word will be to them precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, fall backward, be broken, be snared, and be taken.

Isaiah 28.14: 14 Therefore hear Yahweh’s word, you scoffers, that rule this people in Jerusalem:

Isaiah 28.15: 15 “Because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and we are in agreement with Sheol. 1 When the overflowing scourge passes through, it won’t come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.’”

Isaiah 28.16: 16 Therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.

Isaiah 28.17: 17 I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.

Isaiah 28.18: 18 Your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol 2 shall not stand. When the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it.

Isaiah 28.19: 19 As often as it passes through, it will seize you; for morning by morning it will pass through, by day and by night; and it will be nothing but terror to understand the message.”

Isaiah 28.20: 20 For the bed is too short to stretch out on, and the blanket is too narrow to wrap oneself in.

Isaiah 28.21: 21 For Yahweh will rise up as on Mount Perazim. He will be angry as in the valley of Gibeon; that he may do his work, his unusual work, and bring to pass his act, his extraordinary act.

Isaiah 28.22: 22 Now therefore don’t be scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard a decree of destruction from the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, on the whole earth.

Isaiah 28.23: 23 Give ear, and hear my voice! Listen, and hear my speech!

Isaiah 28.24: 24 Does he who plows to sow plow continually? Does he keep turning the soil and breaking the clods?

Isaiah 28.25: 25 When he has leveled its surface, doesn’t he plant the dill, and scatter the cumin seed, and put in the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place?

Isaiah 28.26: 26 For his God instructs him in right judgment and teaches him.

Isaiah 28.27: 27 For the dill are not threshed with a sharp instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned over the cumin; but the dill is beaten out with a stick, and the cumin with a rod.

Isaiah 28.28: 28 Bread flour must be ground; so he will not always be threshing it. Although he drives the wheel of his threshing cart over it, his horses don’t grind it.

Isaiah 28.29: 29 This also comes out from Yahweh of Armies, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.

Isaiah 65.0:

Isaiah 65.1: 65“I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask.

I am found by those who didn’t seek me.

I said, ‘See me, see me,’ to a nation that was not called by my name.

Isaiah 65.2: 2 I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people,

who walk in a way that is not good,

after their own thoughts;

Isaiah 65.3: 3 a people who provoke me to my face continually,

sacrificing in gardens,

and burning incense on bricks;

Isaiah 65.4: 4 who sit among the graves,

and spend nights in secret places;

who eat pig’s meat,

and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Isaiah 65.5: 5 who say, ‘Stay by yourself,

don’t come near to me,

for I am holier than you.’

These are smoke in my nose,

a fire that burns all day.

Isaiah 65.6: 6 “Behold, it is written before me:

I will not keep silence,

but will repay,

yes, I will repay into their bosom,

Isaiah 65.7: 7 your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together”, says Yahweh,

“who have burned incense on the mountains,

and blasphemed me on the hills.

Therefore I will first measure their work into their bosom.”

Isaiah 65.8: 8 Yahweh says,

“As the new wine is found in the cluster,

and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’

so I will do for my servants’ sake,

that I may not destroy them all.

Isaiah 65.9: 9 I will bring offspring out of Jacob,

and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains.

My chosen will inherit it,

and my servants will dwell there.

Isaiah 65.10: 10 Sharon will be a fold of flocks,

and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in,

for my people who have sought me.

Isaiah 65.11: 11 “But you who forsake Yahweh,

who forget my holy mountain,

who prepare a table for Fortune,

and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;

Isaiah 65.12: 12 I will destine you to the sword,

and you will all bow down to the slaughter;

because when I called, you didn’t answer.

When I spoke, you didn’t listen;

but you did that which was evil in my eyes,

and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”

Isaiah 65.13: 13 Therefore the Lord Yahweh says,

“Behold, my servants will eat,

but you will be hungry;

behold, my servants will drink,

but you will be thirsty.

Behold, my servants will rejoice,

but you will be disappointed;

Isaiah 65.14: 14 Behold, my servants will sing for joy of heart,

but you will cry for sorrow of heart,

and will wail for anguish of spirit.

Isaiah 65.15: 15 You will leave your name for a curse to my chosen;

and the Lord Yahweh will kill you.

He will call his servants by another name,

Isaiah 65.16: 16 so that he who blesses himself in the earth will bless himself in the God of truth;

and he who swears in the earth will swear by the God of truth;

because the former troubles are forgotten,

and because they are hidden from my eyes.

Isaiah 65.17: 17 “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;

and the former things will not be remembered,

nor come into mind.

Isaiah 65.18: 18 But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create;

for, behold, I create Jerusalem to be a delight,

and her people a joy.

Isaiah 65.19: 19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem,

and delight in my people;

and the voice of weeping and the voice of crying

will be heard in her no more.

Isaiah 65.20: 20 “No more will there be an infant who only lives a few days,

nor an old man who has not filled his days;

for the child will die one hundred years old,

and the sinner being one hundred years old will be accursed.

Isaiah 65.21: 21 They will build houses and inhabit them.

They will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

Isaiah 65.22: 22 They will not build and another inhabit.

They will not plant and another eat:

for the days of my people will be like the days of a tree,

and my chosen will long enjoy the work of their hands.

Isaiah 65.23: 23 They will not labor in vain

nor give birth for calamity;

for they are the offspring of Yahweh’s blessed

and their descendants with them.

Isaiah 65.24: 24 It will happen that before they call, I will answer;

and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Isaiah 65.25: 25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together.

The lion will eat straw like the ox.

Dust will be the serpent’s food.

They will not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,”

says Yahweh.

Daniel 12.0:

Daniel 12.1: 12“At that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time. At that time your people will be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book.

Daniel 12.2: 2 Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Daniel 12.3: 3 Those who are wise will shine as the brightness of the expanse. Those who turn many to righteousness will shine as the stars forever and ever.

Daniel 12.4: 4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end. Many will run back and forth, and knowledge will be increased.”

Daniel 12.5: 5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on the river bank on this side, and the other on the river bank on that side.

Daniel 12.6: 6 One said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be to the end of these wonders?”

Daniel 12.7: 7 I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it will be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have finished breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished.

Daniel 12.8: 8 I heard, but I didn’t understand. Then I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”

Daniel 12.9: 9 He said, “Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

Daniel 12.10: 10 Many will purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked will do wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand; but those who are wise will understand.

Daniel 12.11: 11 “From the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there will be one thousand two hundred ninety days.

Daniel 12.12: 12 Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.

Daniel 12.13: 13 “But go your way until the end; for you will rest, and will stand in your inheritance at the end of the days.”

Luke 7.0:

Luke 7.1: 7After he had finished speaking in the hearing of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

Luke 7.2: 2 A certain centurion’s servant, who was dear to him, was sick and at the point of death.

Luke 7.3: 3 When he heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and save his servant.

Luke 7.4: 4 When they came to Jesus, they begged him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy for you to do this for him,

Luke 7.5: 5 for he loves our nation, and he built our synagogue for us.”

Luke 7.6: 6 Jesus went with them. When he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying to him, “Lord, don’t trouble yourself, for I am not worthy for you to come under my roof.

Luke 7.7: 7 Therefore I didn’t even think myself worthy to come to you; but say the word, and my servant will be healed.

Luke 7.8: 8 For I also am a man placed under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

Luke 7.9: 9 When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turned and said to the multitude who followed him, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith, no, not in Israel.”

Luke 7.10: 10 Those who were sent, returning to the house, found that the servant who had been sick was well.

Luke 7.11: 11 Soon afterwards, he went to a city called Nain. Many of his disciples, along with a great multitude, went with him.

Luke 7.12: 12 Now when he came near to the gate of the city, behold, one who was dead was carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. Many people of the city were with her.

Luke 7.13: 13 When the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said to her, “Don’t cry.”

Luke 7.14: 14 He came near and touched the coffin, and the bearers stood still. He said, “Young man, I tell you, arise!”

Luke 7.15: 15 He who was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he gave him to his mother.

Luke 7.16: 16 Fear took hold of all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has visited his people!”

Luke 7.17: 17 This report went out concerning him in the whole of Judea, and in all the surrounding region.

Luke 7.18: 18 The disciples of John told him about all these things.

Luke 7.19: 19 John, calling to himself two of his disciples, sent them to Jesus, saying, “Are you the one who is coming, or should we look for another?”

Luke 7.20: 20 When the men had come to him, they said, “John the Baptizer has sent us to you, saying, ‘Are you he who comes, or should we look for another?’”

Luke 7.21: 21 In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits; and to many who were blind he gave sight.

Luke 7.22: 22 Jesus answered them, “Go and tell John the things which you have seen and heard: that the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.

Luke 7.23: 23 Blessed is he who finds no occasion for stumbling in me.”

Luke 7.24: 24 When John’s messengers had departed, he began to tell the multitudes about John, “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?

Luke 7.25: 25 But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Behold, those who are gorgeously dressed, and live delicately, are in kings’ courts.

Luke 7.26: 26 But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet.

Luke 7.27: 27 This is he of whom it is written,

‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face,

who will prepare your way before you.’a

Luke 7.28: 28 “For I tell you, among those who are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptizer, yet he who is least in God’s Kingdom is greater than he.”

Luke 7.29: 29 When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they declared God to be just, having been baptized with John’s baptism.

Luke 7.30: 30 But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the counsel of God, not being baptized by him themselves.

Luke 7.31: 31 1 “To what then should I compare the people of this generation? What are they like?

Luke 7.32: 32 They are like children who sit in the marketplace, and call to one another, saying, ‘We piped to you, and you didn’t dance. We mourned, and you didn’t weep.’

Luke 7.33: 33 For John the Baptizer came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’

Luke 7.34: 34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Behold, a gluttonous man, and a drunkard; a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’

Luke 7.35: 35 Wisdom is justified by all her children.”

Luke 7.36: 36 One of the Pharisees invited him to eat with him. He entered into the Pharisee’s house, and sat at the table.

Luke 7.37: 37 Behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that he was reclining in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster jar of ointment.

Luke 7.38: 38 Standing behind at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with the hair of her head, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

Luke 7.39: 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, “This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, that she is a sinner.”

Luke 7.40: 40 Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.”

He said, “Teacher, say on.”

Luke 7.41: 41 “A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.

Luke 7.42: 42 When they couldn’t pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?”

Luke 7.43: 43 Simon answered, “He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most.”

He said to him, “You have judged correctly.”

Luke 7.44: 44 Turning to the woman, he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head.

Luke 7.45: 45 You gave me no kiss, but she, since the time I came in, has not ceased to kiss my feet.

Luke 7.46: 46 You didn’t anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.

Luke 7.47: 47 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.”

Luke 7.48: 48 He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

Luke 7.49: 49 Those who sat at the table with him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

Luke 7.50: 50 He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

John 3.0:

John 3.1: 3Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.

John 3.2: 2 The same came to him by night, and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him.”

John 3.3: 3 Jesus answered him, “Most certainly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, 1 he can’t see God’s Kingdom.”

John 3.4: 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?”

John 3.5: 5 Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom.

John 3.6: 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

John 3.7: 7 Don’t marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born anew.’

John 3.8: 8 The wind2 blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don’t know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

John 3.9: 9 Nicodemus answered him, “How can these things be?”

John 3.10: 10 Jesus answered him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and don’t understand these things?

John 3.11: 11 Most certainly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don’t receive our witness.

John 3.12: 12 If I told you earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

John 3.13: 13 No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.

John 3.14: 14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

John 3.15: 15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3.16: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3.17: 17 For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

John 3.18: 18 He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

John 3.19: 19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.

John 3.20: 20 For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn’t come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.

John 3.21: 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.”

John 3.22: 22 After these things, Jesus came with his disciples into the land of Judea. He stayed there with them and baptized.

John 3.23: 23 John also was baptizing in Enon near Salim, because there was much water there. They came, and were baptized;

John 3.24: 24 for John was not yet thrown into prison.

John 3.25: 25 Therefore a dispute arose on the part of John’s disciples with some Jews about purification.

John 3.26: 26 They came to John and said to him, “Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, he baptizes, and everyone is coming to him.”

John 3.27: 27 John answered, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven.

John 3.28: 28 You yourselves testify that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before him.’

John 3.29: 29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. This, my joy, therefore is made full.

John 3.30: 30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

John 3.31: 31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

John 3.32: 32 What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness.

John 3.33: 33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.

John 3.34: 34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure.

John 3.35: 35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.

John 3.36: 36 One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys 3 the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

John 17.0:

John 17.1: 17Jesus said these things, then lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you;

John 17.2: 2 even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

John 17.3: 3 This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

John 17.4: 4 I glorified you on the earth. I have accomplished the work which you have given me to do.

John 17.5: 5 Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed.

John 17.6: 6 I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word.

John 17.7: 7 Now they have known that all things whatever you have given me are from you,

John 17.8: 8 for the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.

John 17.9: 9 I pray for them. I don’t pray for the world, but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours.

John 17.10: 10 All things that are mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.

John 17.11: 11 I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.

John 17.12: 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. I have kept those whom you have given me. None of them is lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

John 17.13: 13 But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves.

John 17.14: 14 I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

John 17.15: 15 I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one.

John 17.16: 16 They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.

John 17.17: 17 Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.a

John 17.18: 18 As you sent me into the world, even so I have sent them into the world.

John 17.19: 19 For their sakes I sanctify myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth.

John 17.20: 20 Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who will believe in me through their word,

John 17.21: 21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

John 17.22: 22 The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one;

John 17.23: 23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me and loved them, even as you loved me.

John 17.24: 24 Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

John 17.25: 25 Righteous Father, the world hasn’t known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me.

John 17.26: 26 I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

Acts 12.0:

Acts 12.1: 12Now about that time, King Herod stretched out his hands to oppress some of the assembly.

Acts 12.2: 2 He killed James, the brother of John, with the sword.

Acts 12.3: 3 When he saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This was during the days of unleavened bread.

Acts 12.4: 4 When he had arrested him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four squads of four soldiers each to guard him, intending to bring him out to the people after the Passover.

Acts 12.5: 5 Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.

Acts 12.6: 6 The same night when Herod was about to bring him out, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains. Guards in front of the door kept the prison.
